Homework Club - Learning Beyond the Bell

The Homework Club caters for children from culturally diverse backgrounds. The Club is supported by Volunteer Tutors who assist students with their homework tasks, literacy, reading and numeracy. It is conducted in an informal learning setting, and has been successful in assisting many children to improve their study practice, complete their homework tasks and to develop their social skills. We also offer a nutritious afternoon snack.

Children attending the program need to agree to the rules and values of the club. Applications to attend the Homework Club are welcome. Acceptance into the Homework Club is dependent on Volunteer Tutor availability. Volunteer Tutor positions are always available, and it is a great way to give back to your community. Tutors must have a Working With Children Check.
